| Alumna Ellen Ferguson ’72 will deliver the keynote address for the 134th Commencement Ceremony.
Ellen Ferguson is a museum professional, community servant, and philanthropist. Attending Puget Sound during the height of the Vietnam War ignited a passion for social justice and a lifelong commitment to activism. She earned a double major in political science and history from Puget Sound and went on to pursue a master’s degree in museum studies at the University of Washington. Ferguson began working at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture in Seattle in 1975 as a graduate student, which would turn into a lifelong passion for education, preservation, and community building. Log in to StageClip using your campus email address and student ID. Once logged in, listen to the pronunciation on file. If it's not quite right, you can upload your own recording or provide a phonetic spelling.
The deadline to review and update your name pronunciation for the ceremony is Thursday, April 23.

| Don’t wait – tomorrow is the last day to order your regalia for Commencement.
You can purchase your cap and gown, as well as Class of 2026 stoles and tassels, through our official regalia partner, Oak Hall.

| We strongly encourage you to place your order now. Regalia orders are shipped directly to students and take 3–4 weeks to arrive.
All graduates are required to wear a black cap and gown over their regular attire to participate in the ceremony.
Please note that individual departments and programs will distribute honor cords and stoles.

The 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, in Baker Stadium. Event gates open at noon, and guest seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The ceremony will conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.
All guests are required to have a ticket to attend the ceremony. Each graduate is allocated up to six tickets for family and friends. Graduates do not need a ticket as they will be participating in the ceremony. Graduates who still need to submit a request for tickets or need additional tickets can email their request to commencement@pugetsound.edu.
You can pick up tickets in the Logger Store on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, May 8. Please bring a photo ID when picking up your tickets. After May 8, tickets will be available at Will Call beginning at noon on Sunday, May 10, at Baker Stadium.
Please be advised that all bags are subject to search upon entry into the stadium. Guests are permitted to bring a single small, clear bag no larger than 14" wide, 14" high, and 6" deep into the stadium. Alternatively, small clutches, purses, and wallets not exceeding 4.5" by 6.5" are also allowed. Larger bags, backpacks, coolers, and similar items are strictly prohibited. Guests are permitted to bring bleacher seat cushions into the stadium.
Family members and guests who are unable to attend in person can view the Commencement Ceremony at pugetsound.edu/commencement.

CEREMONY SEATING ACCOMMODATIONS
|
There will be designated seating areas on the field inside the stadium for guests who need ground‑level seating, captioning, an American Sign Language interpreter, or wheelchair‑accessible seating.
Commencement ushers and staff will be available inside the gates to assist guests with seating accommodations. A ground‑level seating section will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis; please note that this area is not covered. Limited covered seating will be provided for guests who require captioning, an ASL interpreter, or wheelchair accessibility.

During Commencement Weekend, parking for students and guests will be available throughout campus. For parking options, please refer to our interactive campus map or printable map.
Please note that N. 11th St., between Union Ave. and N. Lawrence St. in front of Baker Stadium, will be closed on the day of the ceremony.
For the ceremony, dedicated accessible parking will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis in the Weyerhaeuser Hall Parking Lot (P2) at N. 11th St. and N. Lawrence St., and in the Wyatt Hall Parking Lot (P13) at N. Union Ave. and N. 14th St. For those needing assistance, shuttle service from the Wyatt Hall lot to Baker Stadium will run from Noon to 5 p.m. Additional accessible parking locations can be found on the campus map.

Celebrate your time at Puget Sound by sharing photos of your campus experiences! We are collecting memories from graduates to create a special slideshow for Commencement Weekend. Share photos of campus life, your classmates and friends, favorite classes, academic achievements, club activities, or other highlights from your time at Puget Sound.
The slideshow will be featured at the Grad Party and before the Commencement Ceremony. The photos may also be used for campus communications and social media posts.
Submit your Logger memories by Thursday, April 23.

Join us for Grad Party 2026, a fantastic event to celebrate your achievements with your classmates, family members, and friends on Friday, May 8, from 7–9 p.m. in Wheelock Student Center, Marshall Hall.
Take this opportunity to reminisce about the wonderful memories you’ve made at Puget Sound while viewing the grad slideshow and enjoying delicious refreshments, a hosted bar, and music. Capture the joyous moments with our fun-filled photo booth.
This is a night to celebrate you and all of your accomplishments!

You, along with your family, guests, faculty, and staff, are invited to the Commencement Brunch on Sunday, May 10, in Wheelock Student Center. Brunch will be served in three separate seatings: 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. We highly encourage you to purchase tickets in advance as they do sell out.
Tickets are $14.95 for Class of 2026 graduates, $35 for adults, $12.95 for children 12 and under, and $40 on the day of Commencement if available. Tickets may be purchased in advance until May 8 or until sold out.
