Student Life is looking for undergraduate and graduate student speakers for commencement on May 17. Students graduate date must be in spring of 2026 or fall 2025. Interested students should submit a recording (less than 5 minutes) and a draft of their speech. Deadline: March 31. 

The 2026 Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Symposium is open for registration. All Tufts undergraduate students are invited to share their research. Registration closes Thursday, April 2.

The Graduate Student Research Symposium gives graduate students opportunities to share work. Prizes are awarded. Complete the interest form by March 27 and abstract submission by April 3. 

Curatorial Internship: The Kitchen's eight-month curatorial internship provides the opportunity to assist with the development of current and future curatorial programs. Deadline: March 29.

Curatorial Internship: JOAN is hiring a Getty Marrow Curatorial Intern for Summer 2026 in Los Angeles to work on a newly commissioned exhibition by artist Ali Eyal. Deadline: April 10. 

Summer Internship Opportunity at Baldwin Gallery in Aspen, Colorado. Pay is $25/hour for ~40 hours per week. Intern will participate in all aspects of running a gallery. To apply, email your resume to Kiki Raj, SMFA alum and gallery director at Baldwin.

The Arts Action Consortium is a free workshop led by six Boston-based cultural organizations in collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture.

Call for muralist: The Somerville Arts Council invites artists to apply for new public artwork in Union Square.

Call for submissions: Every other year, the MFA Boston dedicates the Ed Linde Gallery near the school entrance to highlight SMFA student work through a juried exhibition. This opportunity is open to all SMFA graduate students, 3rd and 4th year BFA or combined degree undergraduate students, and post-bacc students. Learn more about the exhibit and apply by March 27.

SMFA ISS x Senior Thesis Open Studios

Yale University Art Gallery Field Trip

Professor of the Practice Jennie Jieun Lee is featured in the New York Times, T Magazine article "Entertaining With: In the Catskills, a Lunch Where the Guests Glazed Their Own Pots."

Laboratory for Other Worlds, an ongoing, collaborative project by Professor of the Practice Patte Lope that links climate science and art practices will be exhibited at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music from March 26 through May 7. A symposium will be held on April 10.
