NYU Online Information Sessions

The Office of JD Admissions would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in our Online Information Sessions to learn more about the law school application process and about NYU Law’s offerings. These presentations will be a special broadcast of a live information session with an admissions representative. CLEO Road to Law School

Designed to identify, motivate and prepare students for a career in the legal profession. Committed students can learn how to successfully navigate the law school admission process and underwrite their success in law school by participating in the College Scholars program.

Ron Brown Prep Program

An award-winning pipeline initiative of the Ronald H. Brown Center for Civil Rights, the 2020 summer program serves college students from historically underrepresented groups who want to pursue a career in the law. Weil Legal Innovators: New Fellowship Program for Law School Bound Students -- Application are Now Open!
Weil has recently launched a new exciting initiative which offers the opportunity for ten rising law students to serve as a public service fellow, or Innovator, with a nonprofit organization for one year prior to the student beginning law school. All expenses associated with the program, including salary and health benefits for the Innovator are covered by Weil. For more information and to apply go here.

Hertog Foundation's 2020 Fellowships & Seminars

If you could study with some of the world’s top thinkers on some of the world’s most important topics – war and grand strategy, economic policy, or political thought and philosophy – which would you choose? Each year, the Hertog Foundation brings together top college students to the nation’s capital to explore the theory and practice of politics in an intensive seminar setting with outstanding faculty. This summer’s offerings provide students the flexibility to create their ideal summer experience – by applying for a seven-week summer fellowship or choosing among one to two week seminars to create their own individualized course of study. XploreJD by AccessLex®: Helping Students Think Beyond Law School Rankings

AccessLex has developed an educational search tool to help aspiring law students reflect on their priorities and find law schools that may be a fit for their criteria. XploreJD urges students to identify and prioritize the factors that will matter most to them, then uses publicly available data and a proprietary algorithm to create a list of schools for them to consider. The practice’s focus is on defending clients from the Department of Children & Families, along with Juvenile Law and Family Law. The internship provides a substantive legal experience. The ideal candidate has strong computer, research, writing, and critical reading skills.
