Parking Lot Renovation
If you will be visiting Clay County Public Health Center any time soon, please be aware that there will likely be fewer parking spots available in our main lot. This is due to major renovation taking place until at least October 15.
Additional parking is located just south of our main lot. Please be aware of your surroundings and drive slowly as there may be more pedestrians and obstacles in the area. Thanks for your patience!

Bivalent Booster Now Available
We are currently offering appointments to receive the updated bivalent COVID-19 booster. These new boosters have an updated formula that both boosts immunity against the original coronavirus strain and protects against the newer Omicron variants.
Anyone age 12 and older can receive this new booster if they've completed their primary series and it's been at least 2 months since their last COVID shot (any type). We are only offering the Pfizer bivalent vaccine at CCPHC.

| Time for Your Annual Flu Shot
To make sure you're protected during peak flu months, it is recommended to get your annual flu shot by the end of October.
A vaccine that provides protection against both flu and COVID is NOT yet available. However, you can get a flu shot during the same appointment as a COVID primary or booster appointment.
Clay County Public Health Center offers appointments for flu shots - schedule by calling 816-595-4355. You can also find more places offering flu vaccines via vaccines.gov.
