Fannie and Freddie Underwriting System Eligibility Updates
For loans locked on or after January 7, 2019 to be eligible for purchase:
  • Fannie Mae loans must be underwritten through Desktop Underwriter® (DU).
  • Freddie Mac loans must be underwritten through Loan Product Advisor® (LPA).
Loans must meet AUS recommendation requirements.

Reminder: Minnesota Housing is Hiring! 
We are looking for a Lending Partner Customer Service Specialist to join our Partner Solutions Team. This position will provide high-level and comprehensive problem-solving assistance to Minnesota Housing business partners (lenders, real estate agents, and more) regarding our home mortgage, downpayment, and home improvement programs. Office Closed for the Holidays
Minnesota Housing will be closed Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1 for Christmas and New Year's Day. Lenders will be unable to lock loans between 5:00 p.m. on the Monday before the office closures and 10:00 a.m. on the Wednesday after each holiday.
Monthly Minnesota Housing Update and Underwriter Call
Join us monthly to review recent Minnesota Housing updates and important information to help you originate and process our loans. Click here to register for monthly calls. You will be signed up for all sessions, but can attend the sessions that work for you. All calls occur on the second Thursday of the month from 9:00-10:00 a.m. CST. Next sessions are:
