Looking Ahead
As students relax and de-stress after a semester like no other, Student Life is planning a calendar of activities to welcome them back to campus in January.
As with the fall semester, we will continue to take safety precautions to keep our campus healthy and safe. We will also provide opportunities for students who are not able to attend in person to still participate and engage.
Additionally, we will kickoff the semester with a series of workshops for leaders of student organizations. Student organizations are an excellent way for students to connect to others who have similar interests while providing an avenue for leadership development and learning outside of the classroom. These workshops are designed to give students direction and guidance that will help them engage with their peers and efficiently lead their organizations.
With the adjusted semester schedule (see below) and the elimination of a spring break week, Student Life and the Office of Diversity & Inclusion are also planning a week of activities during the week in which spring break would normally occur. These activities are designed to help students decompress and de-stress while also providing opportunities to experience new things and have fun.
