The 2022-2023 AmeriCorps Texas program year launches next week, and we’re pleased announce a record investment in this year’s portfolio. OneStar granted $32.7 million from AmeriCorps to 50 organizations across to the state to engage more than 3,600 AmeriCorps members serving in Texas communities! Millicent Boykin honored with the Texas Volunteer Management Conference Legacy Award Our Director of Statewide Initiatives Millicent Boykin was the proud recipient of the 2022 TVMC Legacy Award at the Texas Volunteer Management Conference this June. The prestigious and well-deserved honor celebrates professionals who have made lasting impact on volunteerism and service in Texas and serve as leader, advocate, and mentor to others in the field.
