Living with a Roommate  - Part 2
In last week's issue of the Hawk Herald, you read about your rights as a roommate when living in Miami's residence halls. That was step #1.
Step #2 to being a good roommate will occur when you arrive on campus and complete the Roommate Agreement with your roommate(s).
The key to having a successful roommate relationship is reasonable expectations and good communication, and the Roommate Agreement is one step to being successful.  You will be asked to talk with your Resident Assistant about your Roommate Agreement. You and your roommate(s) should plan to complete this by the end of your first week of classes.
