Re: Delegates to the 55th Annual District Conference
November 9-11, 2018

Each church has at least four delegates: pastor (or pastor’s designee), board chair, and two elected delegates. A church whose membership is 201 to 400 has one additional elected delegate. A church whose membership is 401 to 600 has two additional elected delegates. We get your membership number from the national
Statistical Report Form part 1.
CHURCH responsibilities:
- Have your Pastor or Moderator fill out a delegate credential web-card on the internet for each delegate before September 1, 2018. The Business Book will mail directly to the home address listed on the credential card. Call the office if you need a paper copy or click here. Your congregation should choose at least one alternate delegate. If one of your elected delegates cannot serve, the alternate may take their place. If your board chair cannot attend conference, the church board may appoint another board member to go. Please direct delegates and alternate to the website to register for District Conference.
- Register for conference. Registration opens September 1, 2018.
On October 25 the price increases $25 for individuals and $50 for families.
On October 25 meal registration and age group activities close and will not re-open.

PSWD responsibilities:
- Delegate Business Books will mail in October directly to the delegate’s home address that is listed on the credential card. Churches with no delegates will receive one Business Book. Much of the material will be available before conference on our website at www.pswdcob.org/distconf
Non-delegates can pick up a Business Book at conference. - "Any delegate who travels 250 miles or more for District Conference is eligible to receive $100 in travel assistance, upon request, if their church is not providing travel assistance." - As in recent years, paper Delegate Cards will not be mailed. A “fill-in” web-card version is at: www.pswdcob.org/distconf/reg/delegates
