Commitment To Zero Waste

Keep Cincinnati Beautiful is proud of our commitment to being zero waste in our offices and events. The past two weekends, we provided recycling and composting at two different events: The Ohio River Paddlefest and Gourmet Grub for Good. In total, we diverted about 750 pounds of recycling and compost from the landfill! Shout out to Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati for providing all compostable tableware and cutlery at the Gourmet Grub for Good.
Do you have an event coming up? We can make it zero waste by providing the supplies and services necessary for commercial composting. Visit our Zero Waste Events page to learn more!
Thank you to our partners, GoZero Services and Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District, for making this effort possible!

UPCOMING EVENTS & RESOURCES

Behind The Cincy Block Party

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned block party? With friends, food, music, games, and activities the third annual Cincy Block Party on November 15th will be a blast!
Planning for the Cincy Block Party began in April this year. Benken's Floral Home and Garden Center will once again light up their greenhouse for the party! The Roehr Agency, Messer Construction, Heidelberg Distributing, Formica, and Cincinnati Bell have provided sponsorships that will help make the Cincy Block Party bigger than the last, with more food, drinks, activities, and LIVE music!
Our goal is to raise $60,000 this year to help meet the growing demand for our programming. 100% of the proceeds will go back to the community and benefit our mission to empower people to build community and create a positive future through neighborhood revitalization, education, and mobilization. We need your help in making the Cincy Block Party better than the last and invite you to purchase tickets early at a discount.
