UP Parent Newsletter: October 2019
Dear Pilot Parents,
On Monday evening, you should have received an email from University President Rev. Mark L. Poorman, C.S.C., regarding the death of first-year student Owen Klinger. We encourage you to read the email if you haven’t had the opportunity to already.
We continue to hold Owen, his family, and our entire UP community in our prayers. A Funeral Mass for Owen will be held on Wednesday, October 30, at 10 a.m. in the Chiles Center located on the University of Portland campus, and community members are welcome to attend.
As always, you are welcome to reach out to our office at any time.
Sincerely,
The Office of Alumni & Parent Relations

You can be part of this tradition by sharing the names of your beloved departed, whom UP will remember in its Masses and prayers throughout November. You can submit names here.
