Thank you to all the care providers who attended our recent Zoom sessions. You can access a recap of the information discussed here.
We appreciate your input and look forward to having you join us for our upcoming sessions in November and December. As a reminder, we are holding three (3) meetings, with the same information presented at each meeting, on the following dates:
- November 11, Wednesday, at 9:00 a.m., 12 noon and 4:00 p.m.
- December 10, Thursday, at 9:00 a.m., 12 noon and 4:00 p.m.
Thank you for your feedback regarding how you can help support our efforts to advocate for modifications to State reimbursement for virtual day habilitation services and for programs that benefit adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We will have a template letter for you to send to your state elected officials next Friday. We also will provide you with a link that will help you find the elected officials that represent you. In addition, if you are interested in amplifying your voice through sharing your story with others, including elected officials, media, and donors, please email Dona Kotzur at dkotzur@arc-sa.org.
The Arc remains committed to fulfilling our mission of enriching the lives of adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
