45 Years Serving God in Africa

Oasis founders, Ed and Virginia Elliott decided to do something about the discipleship crisis in Africa in 1978. The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) invited them to revive its chain of 24 bookshops. The Elliotts envisioned a viable Christian book industry for Africa. Ed said, "to Ginny and me, every book and Bible impacts this amazing continent. Africa has the fastest growing church in the world and probably the church that has the highest respect for the authority of Scriptures of anywhere in the world. It will be the locus of international Christian leadership within the next generation."
Seventeen-year-old Darasimi Shares the Good News

You are having a lasting impact...

Darasimi Akintoye attends a Bible club in Nigiera. Now he owns a New Living Translation: Africa Edition Bible. Darasimi said, "With this Bible, I learn more about Jesus and how to share his message with my Mulsim friends. I tell them our sinful nature leads to nowhere. But the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."

Pray for Darasimi to boldly produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as his friends hear about Jesus.
