Dear Colleagues,

I am happy to share that we will host four finalists on the UW-Milwaukee campus for the position of Dean of the College of the Arts and Architecture (CAA) beginning next week. Details about the candidates, position, campus visits and candidate presentations/forums are available on the CAA Dean search website. Access to finalist CVs will require logging in with UWM credentials.

Candidate presentations/forums will be hybrid, and the Teams livestreamed links will be posted on the CAA Dean search website in advance of the forums. Each finalist will make a 20-30 minute presentation followed by a Q&A session, and audience members may ask live (in-person or virtual) questions of the candidates. All candidate presentations/forums will be held from 8:45-10 a.m. in the Arts Center Lecture 120. Candidates, along with their campus visit dates and presentation dates, are listed below.

Confidential surveys to gather feedback on each finalist will be available on the candidates’ information page within the CAA Dean search website and will close on Monday, October 14th at 11:45 p.m. Feedback will be collected and presented to me in a non-identifying format for my review and consideration.

I wish to thank the Search Committee, chaired by John Berges, for service to the university and for producing a strong pool of candidates. We also extend thanks to Assistant Secretary of the University Tammy Howard, who has been instrumental in managing logistics throughout this search process.
