What an incredible year it’s been for Gateway85 CID! From groundbreaking projects to powerful partnerships, 2024 has been a year of transformation and progress for our district. Our commitment to safety and infrastructure shone through with major investments, including new sidewalks, upgraded intersections and beautified roadways—all capped by the largest cleanup effort since the CID’s founding in 2006. Together, we’re shaping Gateway85 into a district that’s more accessible, vibrant and welcoming than ever.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our partners and team. The collaboration between organizations like the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation, the Police Department, state and local leaders and our member businesses has been the driving force behind our success. Special thanks go to Dr. Carolyn Bourdeaux for her leadership in securing funding for transformative initiatives, like the Gateway85-Norcross Microtransit project, and to Robert Michener and Olga Gorman for their tireless work supporting daily operations and member communications.
As we head into 2025, the momentum we’ve built this year inspires optimism for what’s ahead. Thank you to our property owners, partners and community for your continued support. Together, we’re building a thriving Gateway85, full of opportunity and innovation!

Have you noticed Gateway85 is looking especially green for this time of year? That’s no coincidence! Gateway85 CID partnered with Gibson Landscape and Agropro to give the grass along key interchanges a fresh, vibrant appearance by painting it. This effort enhances the district’s curb appeal, creating a welcoming environment for the tens of thousands who travel I-85 daily.
This project is part of the CID’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a clean, attractive and inviting community. By prioritizing aesthetics, Gateway85 continues to make a positive impression on all who live, work and visit the district.

Whether through donations, volunteering or simply spreading the word, there are plenty of ways to support these causes and help brighten the lives of those who need it. Here are a few organizations doing incredible work this holiday season—and all year long.
Corners Outreach

They serve students and their families by providing opportunities for growth, with a focus on Corners Academy, a tutoring program that improves high school graduation rates. You can support their mission by donating or even becoming a lawn care customer through Corners Industries, which provides jobs for parents of students, helping them earn better wages and spend more time with their families. 10% of all profits go directly to Corners Academy.
Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett
Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett provides medical, dental and mental health care to those in need, focusing on underserved individuals and families in the area. Their mission is to restore health, smiles, hope and faith to Gwinnett residents and beyond. Gateway85 is committed to keeping the district safe year-round and this holiday season is no different. Thanks to our ongoing partnerships with the Gwinnett County Police Department and the Flock Safety camera network, we continue to enhance security throughout the district. Below are a few reminders to help you and your loved ones stay safe during the holidays:
Avoid Leaving Valuables Unattended: Be aware of your surroundings, secure your valuables, park in well-lit areas and avoid leaving valuables in your car.
Shop Smart Online: Shop only on secure websites and monitor your accounts for any unusual activity.
Travel Wisely: If you're hitting the road, avoid sharing your travel plans on social media. Watch your speed and give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination so you are not rushed. See more travel tips from Gwinnett County PD here.
Protect Your Home: Lock doors and windows, let a trusted neighbor keep an eye on your home and avoid leaving packages visible.
Your safety is our top priority. Wishing you peace, joy and security this holiday season and beyond!
