Welcome to the Campus Insider!
To kick off the fall semester, we are launching the Campus Insider. This weekly newsletter for KU Lawrence and Edwards faculty and staff provides timely information and reminders of activities, opportunities and deadlines. This message reflects our ongoing commitment to improve our communications and ensure you have facts and features that enhance our ability to be an exceptional learning community that lifts each member and advances society.

Lawrence Campus Road Closures
|
Starting August 26th, 11th Street from Missouri Street to Mississippi Street will be closed to all public traffic. Only buses and construction vehicles will be allowed. Vehicles exiting from Lots 91, 92 and 94 must turn right toward Mississippi Street.
Sidewalks on the south side (stadium side) of 11th Street will also be closed. A pedestrian walkway will be open on the north side of the street.
The road is estimated to re-open January 2025.

Traffic on Jayhawk Boulevard is restricted to authorized vehicles and buses, from 7:45 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Transportation Services uses license plate recognition (LPR) for the enforcement of parking on the Lawrence campus. All vehicles must park with their valid license plate facing the driving lane. Do not pull through or back into parking spaces.

Free parking is available to visitors and students except at designated faculty/staff parking located on the south side of Regnier Hall marked with signage. Refer to the campus map for parking lot locations.
|

|
|
Technology is great, especially when it's working the way we need it. Thankfully, the KU IT Classroom Technology Support staff are here to help with equipment and hardware in classrooms, including troubleshooting, equipment check-out and training.
For urgent technical support in a classroom, contact the IT Support Staff in the building where the classroom is located or call 785-864-1200.

The 2024 Staff Leadership Summit will be held on September 26, 2024. The theme is "Coming Together: The Power of Human Connection."
The event will be held at the Kansas Union and open to all KU University Support Staff and University Professional Staff.
