What is New with the Alumni Chapters Department?

It's Time to Start Planning Summer Welcome Parties!
| |
Summer Welcome Parties are the one time of year where your chapter can invite incoming Cal students to meet and greet alumni, current students, and other incoming students who have submitted their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to Cal! This is usually one of the first contacts the students have with alumni after sending their acceptance into Cal and we want to make sure to give them a great welcoming experience as we do every year! And as always, please feel free to collaborate with other Chapters! If your chapter has not hosted a Summer Welcome Party before and is interested, please make sure to attend the April Town Hall (see below)!
Please have ONE official board member (president preferred) from your chapter complete the 2024 Summer Welcome Party Planning Form by Monday, May 6.

Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA)
| |
The Office of Undergraduate Admission (OUA) is hosting several regional events in April and May to welcome our newly admitted students, and they are looking for alumni to participate and volunteer. This is a great volunteer opportunity to meet new admits, talk with them and their families about your Berkeley experience and beyond, and to help convince as many of them as possible to choose Berkeley!
