| Hi there, Monday marked the first day of a new semester here at Miami! This semester, we welcome 600 new international students to campus, so what better time than now to add our voice to the national #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign? The countries represented by our new international undergrads are: Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China (#1), Croatia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India (#3), Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Nigeria, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and Vietnam (#2). We also sent 424 students out into the world this term to participate in study abroad and away programs. Happy Fall Semester, Miami!

| #MOVEINMIAMI GIFTS ALLOW MORE STUDENTS TO STUDY ABROAD
Global Initiatives would like to thank our donors and express appreciation for the generous contributions. When the official #MoveInMiami campaign ended at 2:22am (because we are welcoming the class of 2022 to campus) on move-in day, our preliminary campaign resulted in 33 total gifts with $2,805.09 raised for the study abroad scholarships fund.
