ATM, created in July 2015, is a steering committee comprised of local organizations, churches, residents, businesses and elected officials joining all together to initiate positive change for Madison, Tennessee; a diverse working class community conveniently located less than ten miles northeast of downtown Nashville. Through the ebb and flow of a thriving economy and the downward spiral of inequity, Madison is now poised to take advantage of the popularity, energy and growth potential associated with Nashville, the “It” city.
The Memorial Foundation generously provided funding for the strategic plan with a unanimous vote from the board to award the grant. Local 501(c)(3) nonprofit Discover Madison, Inc. will serve as the fiscal sponsor for the project.
The Memorial Foundation President Scott Perry says,”Randall Gross has an impressive track record for working with communities like Madison to develop an economic and community development plan that can help revitalize the community, attract new development and preserve and promote Madison’s historic character. We are pleased to support the All Together Madison steering committee as it guides this work.”
