Dear Student,
We are very pleased to announce that two new Senior Academic Advisors have joined our advising team. Ericka Miranda and Allison Vander Broek will be working with the Advising Deans to support undergraduate students in the School of Arts and Sciences.
Ericka Miranda most recently served as the Program Coordinator for Tufts Health Professions Advising as well as the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. During her two years with both programs, she leveraged a variety of technological platforms to streamline processes and create accessible content, developed innovative ways to manage the programs, and supported students in their path to pursue their health professions aspirations. Prior to joining to Tufts, Ericka earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – International Relations from Tulane University.
Allison Vander Broek most recently served as a Records Coordinator with Student Services at Tufts. During her three years there, Allison gained extensive knowledge of Tufts' academic policies and processes. She has helped students make sense of our administrative offices, degree requirements, and degree certification processes. She has also been serving as a pre-major advisor for two years and is now teaching her second advising mini-course, "The End of the World as we Know It." Prior to coming to Tufts, Allison earned her Ph.D. in History at Boston College, where she also served as a TA for undergraduate courses in the department.
The Arts and Sciences advising team are thrilled to welcome both Allison and Ericka!
