Academic or Religious Accommodation Requests June 30
New students seeking academic, dining, or transportation accommodations due to limitations related to disability should contact Student Access (SA) as early as possible or prior to June 30; however, Student Access reviews requests throughout the year.
To receive reasonable accommodations for a sincerely held religious belief or practice, you should submit the Religious Reasonable Accommodation Request Form to Equal Opportunity and Access (EOA). The form must be completed before Vanderbilt can make any accommodation recommendations. Additional information is available online.

Student Wellbeing: We are here to support your transition to college. You are encouraged to explore and proactively discover the resources available to you, including the Student Care Network (SCN). It is crucial to arrive on campus with knowledge of your health needs and medications, including any allergies and doses. Make sure you have an ample supply of medication and consider discussing a care plan with your healthcare provider. It is normal to experience a short wait for an appointment within the SCN, especially during busy periods of the year. We encourage you to reach out early to ensure you get the support you need when you need it. If you have questions about transitioning care, the Student Health Center is here to help.

Finding Employment on Campus: Student employment opportunities offer students flexible, on and off-campus jobs to offset the cost of attendance and gain career experience. Vanderbilt offers an online part-time job bank called HireADore, where students can find on-campus opportunities as well as part-time off-campus jobs. Visit the Career Center website for advice on building your resume, writing cover letters, and interviewing. If you plan to work on campus, you must complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification after accepting your first job offer. International students should also consult with International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) before beginning any employment.
