Dear First Year Student,
We are excited to introduce you to JUMP-IN, an experiential learning program designed for first-year students, taking place during Spring Break 2027, from Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26, with an orientation on Sunday afternoon, March 21.
Admission to the program is application-based, and all interested students must submit a complete application by the due date for consideration.
The application deadline has now been extended to November 30, 2026.
Some students have asked if we could share a PDF of the application in advance of their filling it out. You will find a version you can review and download below.
|
If you have reviewed the application as a PDF, you still must use the application link below to apply.
Applications are now due by November 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. We encourage you to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to explore your interests, build connections, and engage in experiential learning beyond the classroom.

|
- Network of mentors and peers;
-
Renewed sense of purpose, agency, and belonging to the Tufts community; and
- Career exploration experience that will help to shape your academic and professional careers.
|
There is no cost to participate in JUMP-IN. The program covers housing, meals, and any necessary transportation associated with the experience. In return, you will be expected to fully commit to the program by attending and actively participating in all activities throughout the week, and arriving on time for scheduled events.
