Personal Career Development for Sophomores
A Tufts Career Center course, fall semester through the Ex College Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6 p.m. Registration opens June 6. (Space is limited.)

Based on an examination of career development theories, students will apply key concepts to their own career development process, focusing on thoughtful self-reflection, major and career exploration, and the value of internships as a tool in the exploration and decision-making process. Through reading and writing assignments, self-analysis, and classroom activities, students will discover more about themselves and the world of work. Assignments include learning to write a resume and cover letter, attending the Tufts Career Fair, searching and applying for internships, practicing interviews, and conducting informational interviews with a fellow student and an alumna/us.  This course is ideally suited to sophomores who are beginning the career planning process.
