| Teacher of the Month
In cooperation with the Mayor's office and City Council, the Rotary Club of Okla. City recognizes an outstanding teacher in our community.
Jacob Chen was named 2025 Mustang Public Schools Teacher of the Year and 2025 Mustang District Teacher of the Year. He teaches Music at Sunset Hill Elementary School and has served in education for 8 years which have all been in Mustang.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Oklahoma, is a Kodály Level III Certified Educator, and participates in "Circle the State with Song, a premier choral festival program for 4th–8th grade students in Oklahoma.
Jacob is passionate about teaching music. He aspires for his students to develop a firm, fundamental foundation in the arts while connecting with each other through song, folk dance, performance, and community. He is also a musician and composer who has recorded two albums. Jacob accomplishes all of this with the love and support of his family.

| Pickleball - Register Before March 30! VERY LAST CALL!
We’re getting close to our April 4 annual Pickleball Tournament. Registration is closing soon, so be sure to get your name in before March 30. A link to register is below. So far we have 26 players and welcome players of both beginner and advanced levels. If you are new to the sport, we will connect you with a partner. Cost of play is $50 per person, and we welcome spectators. There is a $10.00 charge for spectators who wish to eat. Winners and runners-up in each bracket will receive trophies, and winners will receive a gift card from Chicken ‘n Pickle. We look forward to a fun day on Saturday, April 4 (10 am to 1 p.m.) Players should arrive by 9:45. Emily Stratton, Joel Alberts Co-Chairs

Volunteer Service - Memorial Marathon - Hydration Station Ron Stakem and Ron Suttles received their first announcement about the upcoming OKC Memorial Marathon and our Hydration Station project at mile marker 17, is the same location as last year. All hydration station volunteers (our station and all the others) are to register by using the same group or organization name “20Water26”. During registration you will be asked for that group name twice, in different places in the registration process called "password" or "code." The second time when you enter “20Water26” a dropdown list of all the stations will appear; scroll down and select hydration station 17 Rotary.
Ask a Rotarian (or other) friend to join you and register; let us know too. Ask us any questions you may have. And now is the time to make any suggestions.
