| A Window into Campus Life

| This month we’re stepping away from the hustle and bustle of campus to see highlights from our spring study abroad students! Students traveled far and wide this spring, studying in beautiful international destinations such as Salzburg, Rome, London, Granada, and Australia. If your student is considering studying abroad or is currently abroad, check out these helpful resources for parents and families on the Studies Abroad website. | On Thursday, March 28, the Career Center hosted their inaugural career-discovery immersion program, Class of 2021: Sophomore Jump Start! The event was designed to help second year students gain greater clarity about their career options and the skills they are currently learning. Check out highlights and photos from the event here!

| In just three weeks, the Class of 2019 will be crossing the stage at Commencement. We can’t wait to celebrate with our graduates and their parents! | On April 3–4, the Pilot family raised over $1,108,000 for University of Portland students during #PilotsGive 2019. UP alumni, regents, students, faculty, staff, and parents made a total of 2,610 gifts, completing 37 matching challenges during the 24 hours. UP is so grateful to all those who shared their Pilot pride and donated during #PilotsGive. Through the generosity of the Pilot community, students are getting the support and resources they need to thrive. Thank you!

| For over a century, the priests and brothers of the Congregation of Holy Cross have served at UP, carrying out their mission of educating the hearts and minds of students. In this book, over 200 Holy Cross priests and brothers–including some here at UP– share the spirituality of Holy Cross, encouraging others to grow closer to God through reflection and prayer.
