Our Safety Precaution Reminders

As the weather starts to change and new fall routines emerge, we wanted to remind our returning and new members of our COVID-19 enhanced safety precautions. In partnership with the CDC and our Local Health Department, we are READY for you. But we need YOUR help! At Goldfish Swim School, we always take health and safety as upmost importance. Please know that we are SAFER. STRONGER. TOGETHER!

Don't forget! You must eSign to swim.

All families must accept Goldfish policies prior to attending lessons. If you have not done so already, simply visit our Customer Portal or us the Goldfish App to so so now.

Your swimmer must come dressed ready for their swim lessons.

Our changing huts are opened after swim lessons to keep that one way traffic occurring.

You and swimmer can enter the facility 5 minutes prior to your swim lessons with one parent per swimmer.

This is to minimize traffic within the facility and to adhere to limited capacity.

When you enter the facility, a greeter will take your temperature and ask you a series of CDC questions.

For the safety of our members and team, if you have been

-exposed to or recently diagnosed with COVID-19

-showing any symptoms of illness

-traveled to state on the travel advisory list

please cancel your lesson by contacting us at 973-664-7946 or at swimlivingston@goldfish.com.

PPE is mandated.

Members are required to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth as required by state and local mandate. Face masks are not required for swimmers under the age of 2.

Please note: Swimmers are to only take their masks off when they get to their assigned swim lane and are to put their mask back on before exiting the pool area.

Follow the flow.

We have placed blue arrows on the floor showing the flow of our facility.

Please enter the pool deck using the marked dry door and exit using the wet door.

Reminder:

-Lanes 1-4: Go right

-Lanes 5-7: Go left

When your swim lessons are over, we ask you to exit through the changing room area. This is to keep families (coming in and leaving) social distanced.

Practice Social Distancing

We have increased our lane size and decreased our class size to practice social distancing.

When you are in the facility, we ask you to please practice social distancing by looking for our 6ft floor stickers.

While watching your swimmers during their lessons in our viewing area, we ask you to please refrain from eating. As mandated, masks should be kept on at all times while in the facility.

End of Class Communication is Online.

To keep everyone safety, we have discontinued providing end of class feedback from instructors to parents. However, questions can be emailed to us and we will respond. In addition, Progress Reports are online by accessing your Customer Portal account.

Showers are on vacation.

We apologize that some of the added extras Goldfish usually offers have been removed. Your safety is our number one priority and to decrease high traffic as well as high touch areas, we have placed our showers on vacation. Our showers are being used to sanitize pool equipment.

You can now borrow Cordless Hair Dryers.

After your swim lesson, you can borrow a cordless hair dryer at the Front Desk by leaving a pair of keys or drivers license. You MUST use it in the changing hut to practice social distancing. Our hair dryer station is still on vacation.
