Colleagues in the Division of Student Affairs,
As our semester winds down, I want to share my deepest gratitude for the support and care you provided to students this semester. It is one of the joys of my life to spend my time at work surrounded by incredibly talented staff who give so much to our students.
Over the coming weeks, there are several opportunities to support colleagues who have major student priorities remaining before winter break. These include assisting Disability Resources with exam proctoring, volunteering for Midnight Breakfast and sharing the Professional Clothes Closet event with students in your areas. You will find more information on all of these and more in this eNewsletter.
I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, December 18, for our Winter Warm Up. This annual event is a time of connection and celebration for our Division and includes a cookie contest, karaoke, gift basket giveaways and more.
Warmly,
|
Anna “Dr. G” Gonzalez
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

| Disability Resources requests assistance with final exams
|
Each semester, Disability Resources (DR) supports disabled students and their faculty by proctoring accommodated exams. In order to address the increased volume during Finals Week, DR relies on volunteers. The support from the Division is critical to this endeavor and supervisors are encouraged to offer staff reasonable flexibility to assist in this capacity. Individuals can use the DR Proctoring Volunteers link to sign up. For more information or questions, call 314-935-7998 or email Disability Resources directly.
