Call for Presenters at the U's Transgender Day of Visibility Celebration |
|
|
Calling all undergraduate researchers working on academic or creative projects related to trans people, gender, or sexuality!
The U's Transgender Day of Visibility Celebration is seeking students who would like to share posters about their research, or give short presentations (1-5 minutes).
We invite posters on any topic linked to gender and/or sexuality, broadly understood.
For the short presentations, priority will be given to topics directly related to trans communities if interest in presenting is high.
The event will take place on Tuesday March 31st from 4-6pm. There will be games, crafts, and snacks. Free and open to all!
If you are interested in sharing a poster or giving a presentation, please contact Blake Gutt (blake.gutt@utah.edu) by March 15th.
The TDOV celebration is proudly sponsored by QUAFFS (the U's Queer Alliance For Faculty and Staff), the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Department of Psychology and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
