Hello Vail Ski & Snowboard School Family,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the offseason. It feels like it goes by faster each year as the opening of Vail Mountain only 106 days away. In preparation, our Mountain Operations team has been busy performing an incredible amount of on-mountain maintenance and our Food & Beverage team has been hard at work designing new restaurant concepts for the upcoming season which will include an overhaul of the Terrace Level at Mid Vail. We are all getting excited for another incredible season on Vail Mountain.
I’m also excited to share that we are on track to launch Ski & Ride School in the My Epic App for this Winter. As a reminder, in March we announced that coming this Winter, we will offer digital check-in, real-time lesson updates, photo sharing, skills tracking, milestone badges and more – all within the My Epic App.
To support this guest experience, the team has developed a custom App for Instructors and Supervisors, called Lesson Connect. This tool has been designed with input from your peers and local leaders, and with you in mind, to make group lessons smoother, more efficient, and more connected.
