Meet with your Resident Assistant (RA) and Residence Life professional staff to go over key information related to your corridor and residential community. Your RA will be prepared to answer any questions you have as well and walk with you and your corridor-mates to the First Night Block Party - your first Welcome Weekend Event!

First Night Block Party - moved inside the Rec/Goggin due to weather

  • Goggin Ice Center & Rec Center
  • all first-year students are expected to attend
It's your first night at Miami -- so join the Class of 2023 for a great time! There's a chance of rain tonight, so the Block Party will take place inside the Rec Center and the Goggin Ice Center.  Get free food and giveaways, participate in free ice skating, bubble soccer, and a crate stacking contest. Then, see hypnotist Michael C. Anthony for an amazing and hilarious show you won't want to miss. Share photos of the event on Twitter and Instagram using #MiamiOH2023 and #MiamiOHFirst50.
