Student Leaders,
I hope you are all enjoying your Spring Break and taking time to relax, catch up with friends and family, and focus on your own well-being. I am writing to follow up with you about a decision that has been made regarding the cancelation of events on campus starting tomorrow through April 3. If your organization had an event planned between these dates, you will receive an email from University Events regarding this change.
I know this can be disappointing for many who put time and energy into planning some of these events, or for those that were looking forward to participating. The staff at Student Involvement are feeling that as well and want you to know that we are here to support you and your groups.
In the coming days we will continue to learn more about Mason's approach, but please know that at the core of all decisions is the safety of our students. Your respective advisor team within Student Involvement will be reaching out to let you know any updates, how to approach future planning, and support your organization through this challenging time. We will be creating a more virtual approach as we move to practice social distancing and will be offering virtual access to the staff as well.
