Provost Search and Screen Committee

Dear Seton Hall Community,

We are pleased to share an important update on the search for Seton Hall's next Provost and Executive Vice President.

Over the past several weeks, the Provost Search and Screen Committee has been hard at work reviewing nearly 50 applications from candidates across the country. We are encouraged by the interest in this important leadership opportunity and are now identifying candidates who will move forward to the first round of interviews in the coming weeks.

Following those conversations, the committee will select several candidates to advance to the next stage of the search and participate in on-campus interviews at Seton Hall.

We are reserving November 16, 17, 18 and 23, and December 1, 2026, as placeholders for campus interviews. Because the committee's selection process is still underway, we may not ultimately use all these dates and there may be some adjustments.

However, we are providing you with these dates in advance so that members of the University community who wish to participate in the interview process can hold the appropriate dates and times outlined in the schedule below. Note that we will use the same schedule for all dates.

Provost Finalist Campus Visit Schedule:

Once the slate of campus interview candidates has been finalized, we will provide additional information about all candidates, including their resumes and cover letters, along with further details regarding the interview process, including room locations.
