The Library’s Jenessa McElfresh did something extraordinary during the last week of June! McElfresh brought together librarians from around the globe in the name of Evidence Synthesais. Jenessa McElfresh and Cozette Comer, from Virginia Tech, created the Library Evidence Synthesis Services Symposium (LESSS) out of a common goal to connect all evidence synthesis service providers. The online conference, which ran June 24 through 27, brought together 1,057 registrants from 33 different countries, representing every continent except Antarctica. With a schedule packed with 58 expert speakers across the four days, dedicated participants brought together their enthusiasm and evidence synthesis skills to learn and grow from one another. Together with the planning committee, McElfresh was thrilled with the event's success and looks forward to working on future iterations of the conference. The Library is very proud of her for this amazing accomplishment!
