The National Entrepreneur Center (parent organization of BizLink Orange) in Orlando, FL, is celebrating their 20th anniversary and recently won the 2023 International Business Innovation Association (InBIA) Entrepreneur Support Organization of the Year as well as receiving the Dinah Adkins Incubator of the Year Award.

West Virginia BusinessLink co-hosted a successful Bridging Innovation Week April 17-21. This five-day annual symposium is hosted through the West Virginia Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and various state partners as a way to promote and foster entrepreneurs across the Mountain State.

How to Support and Champion LGBTQ+ Entrepreneurs

Next month is LGBTQ+ Pride month and you can show your LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs love and appreciation in June by sharing their success stories on social media and reminding your community to shop at locally-owned LGBTQ+ businesses. In the meantime, revisit our blog on the challenges facing LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and how to help them.

We had a great time at the SourceLink Summit in San Juan, Puerto Rico! We heard from inspiring entrepreneurs, panels of economic development experts, and gleaned insights from amazing professionals and thought-leaders. Attendees were able to forge connections with other communities and learn how they are navigating challenges faced while creating and strengthening entrepreneurial support networks. We can’t wait to take what we’ve learned from our affiliates moving forward to help support all of you.
