6TH ANNUAL TRICK-OR-TREAT TRAIL RETURNS
Get ready for one of our favorite fall traditions! Warm Hearth Village’s 6th Annual Trick-or-Treat Trail returns Friday, October 30, from 3:30–6:00 PM.
Bring the kids, grandkids, neighbors and friends for an afternoon of Halloween fun featuring a petting zoo, hay ride, candy and game stops, concessions, craft vendors and our Little Goblin Costume Contest at 5 PM.
This event is free, family-friendly and open to the community, so help us spread the word! Guests are also invited to bring paper towels, toilet paper or tissues to help stock Micah’s Pantry and support seniors in need.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEFT UNDONE?
It’s a question worth asking at any age.
People who care for those nearing the end of life are often given a unique perspective on what matters most. It’s rarely the things that once filled our to-do lists. More often, it’s the people we love, the experiences we shared and the ordinary moments we wish we had more time to enjoy.
So, what have you left undone? Mend the relationship. Make the call. Take the trip. Spend more time with the people you love. Do the things you keep saying you’ll do someday.
For those facing a serious illness, hospice can provide comfort, support and peace of mind, giving patients and families more space to focus on what matters most—the time they have together.
At Warm Hearth at Home Hospice, our team is here to provide peace, comfort and compassionate support for patients and the people who love them.
Questions about hospice? Call 540-443-3428 or email Scott Bryant at sbryant@warmhearth.org.

SHARE A LITTLE JOY THIS CHRISTMAS
A gift means a little more when you know it was chosen just for you.
Each year, Silver Santa brings holiday gifts to more than 100 seniors, with each one selected from a resident’s personal wish list. For residents, it’s the joy of opening something chosen especially for them. For our Silver Santas, it’s the fun of shopping, wrapping and knowing that their gift will make someone feel remembered this Christmas.
We’re starting early and would love for you to be part of it. We’ll provide a resident wish list along with everything you need to make their holiday special.
Ready to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter? Contact Dominique at dharder@warmhearth.org or 540-443-3406.

TURN YOUR REQUIRED MINIMUM DISTRIBUTION INTO MEANINGFUL SUPPORT FOR SENIORS
If you are age 70 ½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA can be a tax-smart way to support the Warm Hearth Foundation or another favorite charity. A QCD allows you to direct funds from your IRA straight to a qualified charity, potentially reducing your taxable income.
For those who are required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), a QCD can also count toward all or part of the annual RMD requirement. Making a QCD or even using your RMD to donate can be especially attractive for individuals who do not need their full distribution for living expenses but would like to support the work of a trusted charity like the Warm Hearth Foundation. You may designate your contribution to a specific fund of the Foundation if you are interested in supporting a particular strategic effort.
To hear how others have made a difference at Warm Hearth Village through a year-end, memorial or planned gift, contact our philanthropy office. Call 540-443-3414 or email tstone@warmhearth.org to talk more.
