We thank her for her leadership of the Fitness Department, and wish her well in her future endeavors. The search for her replacement will start immediately. NRV BIRD CLUB OPEN MEETING “Birding in Columbia” will be presented by John Ogburn with highlights from his Nov. 2016 trip. The first week was spent in the Santa Marta mountains on the north coast, an area that contains about 30 endemic bird species. He will also highlight birding in central Columbia around and between Bogota and Manizales at elevations ranging from sea level to over 12,000 ft.

LETTERS TO HILLARY Have you ever written a letter to the first lady of the United States of America? Have you ever wondered about what others write to her? Lorraine Hodge will present a talk entitled "Letters to Hillary". Her talk will involve her volunteer job at the White House handling mail for first lady Hillary Clinton for 5 years. She will give details of this work and also talk about some interesting events during this time. Lorraine has an undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and a Master’s degree from Purdue. Other accomplishments include raising foster children and owning a needlework shop. She and her husband Dan moved to Woods Edge in 2011. Reserve transportation by calling 552-2419.

| FITNESS CENTER NOTICES: We need your help! In an effort to conserve water and energy, please consider limiting your towel usage
to 1-2 per visit. If you accidentally borrow a towel, please be sure to return it to the Fitness Center. Thank you for helping us conserve our resources.
Guest Passes - ALL guests must sign in the guest book located in the Fitness Office.
- Residents are allowed TWO free passes per household a month
- When a resident has a guest, the resident needs to be present or call the Fitness Center at 443-3474 to acknowledge guest usage.
- Guests must be 18 or over to use the center. The only exception is during Family swim day (the last Saturday per month).
- Guest passes are $10 a day, unless otherwise stated.

BACK-HAB & FALL PREVENTION Are you challenged with back problems and/or balance?? We are here to help you out. An easy, but beneficial class! This yoga-based class will focus on using the resistance of the water to stretch and strengthen the back, core, and leg muscles, increasing range of motion and stability.
