Reminder: Government Shutdown and Upcoming Deadline

The November 5 submission deadline is rapidly approaching. To ensure a seamless submission process, we kindly ask you to route substantially completed proposals for review and submit OSP-approved proposals to the agency as early as possible. Timely submission is even more important during a government shutdown.
While our October submission deadlines were very successful, we did experience some technical glitches on the federal government system, and the government help desks are not operational during the shutdown. Please give our VUMC administrators and technical staff as much time as possible to investigate and resolve any submission problems.
Under current policy, grant applications are due to OSP for business office review and approval no fewer than five (5) business days prior to the stated agency/sponsor submission deadline. The requested deadline for actual submission to the funding agency is two (2) business days prior to the stated agency deadline, allowing OSP three (3) business days to complete a review.
