Welcome back, WWL-collectors!
Before you slide the plastic off of today’s mint-condition pages below, a quick suggestion:
Think of the many UC San Diego emails you receive – and we know there’s a ton – like sections in a newspaper. While some can be a bit more business than comics (who, us?!), they’re all important. And you should read them, since email is the university’s official communication channel.
Thanks for that. Now, back to the show! As always: enjoy, and be kind to each other. - Ian

Where to look for workout wear without working out your wallet? Why, it’s Wrec- *ahem* Recreation’s annual Thrift Store Pop-Up, of course.
“April 19, 3-6pm, Main Gym.”
Ctrl+V those deets to fill the WWL-sized gap in Friday’s schedule (an off day for us), and BYO-tote or drawstring bag to fill with no-cost athletic apparel next week.

Want a recipe for overall well-being? Dig in to the latest offerings from our CAPS x Outback Adventures collab – curated experiences that combine recreational activities with mental health reflections in order to foster personal growth while improving well-being.
Walkie and talkie.
Each of these outdoor adventures (climbing, hiking, etc.) will be peppered with discussions about how the activities reinforce elements of positive psychology – like teamwork, grit, and self-compassion. Get into it, and get something out of it!

Been working on a routine at open mics around town? You’re in luck. We’re still accepting applications through April 29 from Class of ‘24 graduates to be our student keynote speaker at All-Campus Commencement on June 15.
Spittin’ (stars and) bars.
And hey, if you’ve got what it takes to belt out F.S. Key’s 1814 bop in front of 10K classmates – more power to you! Applications to sing the national anthem are also open until midnight on April 29.

It’s no secret that our campus’ walking and wheeling paths are buzzing with activity. Because more folks + more spokes = more accidents, here’s a reminder from Transportation on how all Tritons can safely navigate these roads-more-traveled.
Use it, don’t bruise it.
Keep your brain in tip-top shape by wearing a helmet while cruising campus on bikes, scooters, and skateboards (heck, even unicycles if you’re about that mono-wheel life).
Safety, at any cost.
Lucky for you, that cost is nearly 80% off when you grab a Giro MIPS helmet for $10, courtesy of the Triton Commuter Club.

Intrigued by the idea of chatting with a mental health professional but don’t know where to start? As part of CAPS’ no-cost Let's Talk program, counselors offer informal, one-on-one sessions that aim to provide practical strategies, resource information, and support for your overall well-being.
Less ‘Tok, more talk.
Instead of doom scrolling when something’s got you down, spend 20-25 minutes in consultation with a pro who’ll truly listen to your problems and explore solutions – not distractions.
No wait? Yes way.
Peruse their schedule of sessions and specialties for each day of the week. Although they’re first-come, first-served – there’s typically no wait for an appointment.
