Each year, Commuter Connections recognizes businesses around the Metropolitan Washington Region that go the extra mile to help reduce traffic congestion by offering commuter benefits packages.

This year, The Cadmus Group, an environmental and energy consulting firm with an office in Downtown Bethesda was honored with the Incentives Award!

The Cadmus Group offers a generous transit subsidy, a free employee shuttle from the Bethesda Metro Station. In addition, they offer a $100 annual bicycle subsidy, and their building provides on-site lockers and shower facilities and bike racks for safe storage. All employees have the ability to telework and are able to work a compressed work schedule.

As a result of their efforts, 80% of their employees based in the Metropolitan Washington area have gotten out of their cars and found a "better way to work."
