Orange County Creek Week celebrates the streams, lakes, and rivers that connect our communities. It's a weeklong series of activities like a litter cleanup challenge, community science BioThon, invasive plant removal, green infrastructure tours, and more!

The Orange County Arts Commission, in partnership with WRAL and the arts councils of Durham, Chatham, and Wake counties, presents Big Night In for the Arts on March 7 at 7pm on WRAL and WRAL.com. This annual televised fundraiser for the arts has supported local programs such as the Eno Arts Mill BIPOC Artist in Residence, arts education programs in local schools, and free class and camp scholarships. Tune in to see featured artists Tift Merritt, Pierce Freelon, and Tray Wellington, as well as many local faces!

Residents can have a positive impact on the future of Orange County by serving on a volunteer board or commission. Orange County strives for diverse representation on boards and commissions. Residents of all demographic backgrounds, identities, and perspectives are encouraged to apply.

The Climate Connection is Orange County's NEW quarterly sustainability newsletter highlighting the people, programs, and ideas that are advancing action on climate change and helping make Orange County a great place to live.
