The meeting was made of vital stakeholders and strategic partners such as organizations, service providers, and mothers with lived experience.
This year’s theme highlighted the voices of those with lived experiences, facilitated insightful discussion, shared groundbreaking ideas, created networking opportunities, and fostered cross-system collaboration to drive systems change and improve behavioral health outcomes for mothers, children, and families affected by perinatal substance use.

New Notification of Pregnancy and Risk Screening Webinars |
Effective November 1, 2024, MO HealthNet enrolled providers (including Fee-For-Service (FFS) and Managed Care (MC) Health Plan providers) who provide obstetric care/services, primary care, and emergency care to MO HealthNet participants can begin utilizing the new NOP and Risk Screening Portal to notify the MO HealthNet Division (MHD) and the MC Health Plans of a participant’s pregnancy.
The new Portal will notify MHD and the appropriate MC Health Plan of a participant’s pregnancy without requiring a provider to complete multiple forms or online portals. There is also a new universal NOP and Risk Screening Form that can be used as a tool to collect the information needed for the portal.
Providers can bill and be reimbursed $50 for entering the NOP and Risk Screening information in the Portal. Billing guidance is provided in the MHD Notification of Pregnancy and Risk Screening Bulletin, webinars, and resources on the Maternal and Infant Health program page.
To assist providers with this transition, we have scheduled two live webinars. Please register for one of the following dates/times:
|
-
Friday, October 4, 2024 – 1:00pm – 2:00 p.m. Register
- Wednesday, October 9, 2024 – 10:00am – 11:00 a.m. Register

FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR (FFY 2024) UPDATE |

Starting the new federal fiscal year our program will be operating in 86 counties across the state. With other crib programs being utilized in Missouri, that will leave four counties without any type of crib program. Our participating counties are working across county lines though to make sure that every county is being served.

The CRIS Link makes accessing early childhood (prenatal to five) home visiting services easy for anyone in Missouri who needs it. It is a one-stop shop for anyone to make an early childhood home visiting referral in Missouri through one of five Regional CRIS Networks, depending on the needs and location of each family. Whether you are a home visiting provider, a medical professional, an educator, or a caregiver seeking services, you can make a referral for a family using the CRIS Link.
Select the family’s county using the CRIS Link below to find their Regional CRIS Network and referral form. Once a referral is submitted, the Regional CRIS Network will assign the referred family to a home visiting program based on the family’s needs and eligibility, and the program’s capacity.
The assigned home visiting agency will then contact the family to tell them more about their program and offer services.
