Tennessee 4-H Roundup Celebrates a Centennial


Celebrations for the long-awaited 100th Tennessee 4-H Roundup and All-Star Conference are taking place at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus July 17-21, 2023.


This year’s event  is centered around the theme “Encourage, Empower, Embrace,” with a focus on the Centennial Celebration and recognition of past Roundups with festive décor and an exciting schedule to honor the past and build excitement for the future of Tennessee 4-H.

Attend the 4-H Picnic at the Fair
In 2022, the Tennessee 4-H Foundation hosted the inaugural Picnic at the Fair in conjunction with the Wilson County Fair – Tennessee State Fair. The unique event was created to bring the 4-H community together for a fun day at the fair while raising funds for 4-H camp and scholarships. 
This year, there are some exciting plans for Picnic at the Fair. The event will take place on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. Participants can expect a fun day of great food and entertainment, all while supporting an important cause for 4-H’ers across Tennessee.

UT System President Randy Boyd Is a Friend of 4-H

For his continued efforts and support of the program, UT System President Randy Boyd was presented with the 2023 Friend of 4-H Award. This award is given each year at 4-H Congress to a supporter who has gone above and beyond and honors those who have contributed time and resources to young 4-H’ers across Tennessee.
