Afraid you missed out on gymnastics for the fall? Don't worry! Gymnastics Fall 2 session registration will begin Saturday, September 25 at 9:00 am for ACC residents and Monday, September 27 at noon for non-residents. Fall 2 classes will begin the week of October 11 and continue through December 2.
Before registering, individuals who have not already done so must establish a free online account at www.accgov.com/myrec. Payment may be rendered using a debit card, American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa, or a MasterCard or Visa gift card.
On November 1, 2020, the Leisure Services Department updated its online registration software.. Individuals who have not established a new online account since November 2020, must do so at www.accgov.com/myrec.

Calling Teens!
Looking for something fun to do this fall? The Leisure Services Department has a variety of programs just for teens!
There are Football Watch Parties, nature programs,Teen Girls Night, Teen Video Nights, as well as art, dance, and theatre options.

Athens Water Festival
It's back! The annual Athens Water Festival at Sandy Creek Park! This special event is scheduled for Saturday, September 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Festival is free, however there is the $2 per person park entry fee.
Go for the gold in the H2Olympics as part of Athens' Team Water! The Athens Water Festival offers dozens of water-themed events and activities for the whole family! Touch sea life, lift pounds of water, and run through the spray of water. Bring a refillable water bottle and a swimsuit..

Stars Everywhere!
Join Nature Center staff for our planetarium program in the Sky Center. Attendees will journey through the night sky, exploring the great beyond.
Fall themes include September Fall Skies (September 18), October Spooky Skies (October 16), and November Planetary Fun (November 20).
This program is for ages 5 and older. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Programs take place from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The fee is $2 for ACC residents and $3 for non-residents.

What's Cooking?
Children, ages 7-12, will learn valuable cooking skills and new recipes, enjoy a fun hands-on activity, and be inspired to expand their taste buds to discover that new foods can be really good.

Parrots Not Required
Sail your ship to the Nature Center and enjoy activities including scavenger hunt live animal interaction and a short planetarium progra.

ACCGov Leisure Services ScholarshipsThe Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department offers scholarship to qualifying Athens-Clarke County children. Scholarships allow participants to pay less than the program fee.
