» Platinum Pad: If Miranda Lambert ever decides to hang up the mic, she could have a very successful career as an interior designer. Lambert just opened a bed and breakfast called The Ladysmith in an historic two-story building built in 1901 in the heart of her adopted hometown of Tishomingo, OK. She and her creative team gave each of the eight bedrooms a look they describe as "Shabby Chic meets Rock & Roll." Give them extra points for the clever room names, too. How'd you like to stay in the Knaughty Pine? And we bet many a Merle Haggard fan will flock to the Working Man Blues room. Lambert left no corner untouched in the beautifully renovated building. There's also a dining hall, two lounges, a tea room, a bar and a ballroom for parties and weddings. Check out the photos here .

» Cash On Arrival: Congratulations to Lady Antebellum 's Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli on the Sept. 7 birth of their first child, son Cash . The news came via Lady Antebellum's Twitter page. "So happy to have a healthy baby boy here with us!" they tweeted . "Cash Van Haywood was born last night, Mom & Dad are doing great and couldn't be happier!" Dave and the rest of the band are anxiously awaiting another "birth" – the Sept. 30 release of their new album, 747 .

» Boy Oh Boy: Cheers also to Josh Turner and wife Jennifer on the Sept. 4 birth of son Samuel Hawke , who came into the world weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz. and measuring 20.5 inches. He joins big brothers Hampton, Colby and Marion . "God has truly blessed Jennifer and me with this healthy little boy," says Turner. "We are so thankful and excited to see our family grow yet again." Turner is currently in the studio wrapping up his sixth album. Look for it in early 2015 – and get a sneak peek of the lead single "Lay Low" on Josh's Instagram page.

» Slick Jagger: When Rascal Flatts ' Joe Don Rooney is offstage with a little downtime, you'll most likely find him on the golf course. The guitarist even passed down his love for the links to six-year-old son Jagger . The two recently inspired two clothing lines - mens and boys collections - from golf apparel company Sligo Wear . At first glance, the shirt designs might seem abstract. But the company incorporated Rooney's beloved argyle patterns, guitar strings, a guitar pick in place of their logo, and a rendering of Jagger's signature.

A portion of the proceeds from the boys collection will go to the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville . "It's such a kick to have Jagger's name on these cool shirts," Rooney told GolfWorld.com , "and even better that together we can, in a small way, help those kids who need all of our help so much." See the lines here .

» He'll Be Him: Country Music Hall of Famer Glen Campbell is releasing his final recording Sept. 30. "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" was written by Campbell and Julian Raymond for the documentary  Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me  and is part of a five-song EP that also features The Band Perry  and Campbell's daughter  Ashley Campbell . A complete soundtrack will be released later this fall.

"I'm Not Gonna Miss You" confronts the mental ravages of Alzheimer's disease, from which Campbell suffers. The film – which opens in New York Oct. 24 – was directed and produced by James Keach ( Walk The Line ) and chronicles Campbell's brave struggle. Watch the trailer here.
