Thank you for successfully completing your 2024-2205 housing registration. Today, we are officially notifying you of your 2024-2025 housing assignment! 

You may now view your 2024-2025 housing assignment in your GW Home Portal.

For most students receiving this notification today, you are going to be living in the same room you are living in this year because that’s what you registered for. For some of you, you are a new roommate being pulled into a room that your friend already lives in. Either way, we know that you are excited to confirm where you will be living in the fall. As you log-in to confirm your assignment, please note that the GW Home portal has a limit on the number of individuals who can log into the portal at once. If you are unable to log in, this is not an error, and you do not need to report the ‘error’ to us. We recommend that you log out and log back on at a later time to view your housing assignment. Thank you for your patience as you and your peers take turns logging into the portal today.

Also, for reference, the 2024-2025 housing rates are posted online. 

We recognize that your academic plans for the fall semester may change and you may need to adjust your on-campus living situation. 

The following students are eligible to cancel their 2024-2025 housing prior to the fall:

Once your housing assignment is canceled, you forfeit any rights to the room you have been assigned for 2024-2025. If your situation changes after you cancel your housing and you want to live on-campus for 2024-2025, you can re-register for on-campus housing again. However, please note that you will not be guaranteed housing and may be put on a waitlist depending on current capacity. As such, be sure your cancellation decision is final before submitting your request.
