Want to know more about how to proceed after graduation, especially when it comes to employment visas? Join ISSS this Tuesday, March 10 for a workshop where participants will learn more about OPT, STEM OPT, and H-1B. This session will introduce U.S. work authorization, status, and visa options to international students after completion of studies. Find this workshop in MacMillan Hall 212, 12:00 - 1:15 pm.

6:30 pm, March 6 (tonight): Coffee Hour at the Interfaith Center is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to get together to have friendly conservation, sip coffee and eat snacks from around the world. The Chinese Student and Scholar Association will perform Chinese dance and music and teach a traditional Chinese game. Enjoy Fair Trade Coffee, Chinese Tea, and Chinese Food at the event! 
President Crawford invites you to join him and Renate for MOVE Bootcamp at 10:00am on Saturday, March 7 at their home (Lewis Place), located at 310 E. High St. Work out with friends and get a healthy start to your day. You can also get a free BlenderBottle!
Midterms stressing you out? Join the Student Counseling Center in Armstrong Pavilion A/B between 1 and 4 pm on Tuesday, March 10 to de-stress with one of their certified therapy dogs!
Come practice your English Conversation skills at the Oxford Lane Library from 6 - 7:30 pm on March 10. All levels of English speakers are welcome to this fun, helpful event hosted by the local public library.
Reminder: For walk-in advising, stop by the International Student and Scholar Services office (on the second floor of MacMillan Hall) Monday through Thursday from 3-4:30 pm.

Bus trips
ISSS is offering a van trip to Hueston Woods for the Maple Festival tomorrow, Saturday, March 7 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Enjoy a day of hiking, learning the art of making maple syrup, and taking hayrides. You also have the chance to experience $6 all-you-can-eat pancakes.

ISSS is offering 3 trips to students who will stay in Oxford over Spring Break.
On March 24 from 9 am - 2 pm, international students or scholars who need a Social Security number or have other SSA matters that need attending can register for this no-cost van trip to visit the Social Security Administration in Hamilton, OH.

ISSS is looking for volunteers to help sort and pack shoes from 1-5 pm on March 25 at the Missions in Motion facility in Hamilton, OH. ISSS will provide transportation or you can arrange your own.

Fall 2020 registration will open in April. If you have a registration hold, it will prevent you from choosing courses. To prepare for registration, login to BannerWeb in your MyMiami account and check your registration hold status. If you have any registration holds, begin resolving them now. The Fall 2020 course list will become available on March 13. We recommend scheduling a meeting with your academic advisor after that date to discuss course options for the upcoming semester.
