Thank you for your generosity!

Every year I look forward to the spring equinox on March 20, as we shift away from winter. As daylight grows longer and the weather gets a bit warmer, the Foundation happily springs ahead—while at the same time looking back at what we’ve accomplished this fiscal year so far.
Here are a couple of ways your generosity has helped patients and their families to date:
|
- Project H.E.A.L. received over $39,000 to help overcome barriers to health care for underserved members of our communities who need help the most—barriers like transportation, inadequate or lack of health insurance, financial resources, language and culture.
-
CentraCare Hospice received more than $300,000 to support patients and their families by providing added comfort care to those embarking on an end-of-life journey. Services include music and massage therapy, financial assistance for energy bills and pharmacy supplies, and the presence of a chaplain.
|
There are many tangible ways your gifts make an impact on health care in our area. Read on to learn more about some of the things that are new at CentraCare.
Thank you and I wish you the best as we spring forward together!

| Extra Support for Expectant Parents |
Generous donor gifts through CentraCare Foundation helped Liz Pitra, a registered nurse and labor and delivery educator, acquire the special training she needed to offer Spinning Babies® within CentraCare’s Birthing Services.
“I am thankful to donors for supporting my training in this approach. I am grateful for training that helps care providers see safer and more satisfying outcomes," says Pitra.
