Dr. Robbie Robichau was invited to speak at the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Associations (ARNOVA) pre-conference workshop on Nonprofit-Academic Partnerships. The workshop had over 100 registrants. Dr. Robichau presented on a new project entitled: "Prioritizing Your People: Pathways Between Capacities and Decision-Making Priorities in Czech NGOs." She also participated as a panelist for NACC Curricular Guidelines, chaired a session on Policy Support for Social Enterprise, and served on the Best Conference Paper Awards committee.

Dr. Robert Greer published an article on organizational fragmentation in water utilities and its effects on performance with co-authors in the journal Public Management Review.

Dr. Robert Greer was elected to serve on the executive committee for the Association for Budgeting & Financial Management. Dr. Greer will serve a three-year term starting in January 2024.

Professor John Schuessler recently published an article in the United States Army War College Press entitled, "Ambivalent Offshore Balancer: America in the Middle East and Beyond." The article enters the debate on American grand strategy by questioning the logic underpinning offshore balancing. It concludes that the United States is an ambivalent balancer due to the stopping power of water.

The Albritton Center for Grand Strategy presents Joshua Byun, an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boston College. Professor Byun will be presenting a piece of his book project and ask why a leading great power's grand strategic prescriptions for its smaller allies' military postures are readily accommodated by the latter in some instances, but not others.
