Dear ECELP Families,
In light of the Governor's May 11 announcement, I'd like to reach out and let you know where we are on the reopening of the ECELP.
During the university's Phase I, restrictions on child care prevent us from maintaining our group size and ratios; therefore, we are targeting our reopening for Phase II. At this time, it is projected to be mid-June, however, this is contingent on a number of factors. We will continue to closely monitor recommendations from the Governor's Office, the Office of Public Health, and the Louisiana Department of Education in communication with both the CHSE Dean's Office and the LSU Emergency Operations Center. We will reopen only when it is safe to do so and will be following all recommended health and safety precautions to keep your children safe.
In order to help us plan, we are requesting that you complete this survey by Wednesday, May 20. Please coordinate with other members of your household and only answer once per family/household.
We recognize this time of uncertainty is difficult for us all. Please know that we are looking forward to seeing your children's smiling faces and serving your family again.
