Alumnae Share Wisdom with RTSWS Graduates |
Graduation is a milestone, and for the RTSWS Class of 2025, it’s just the beginning. To mark the moment, we hosted a Senior Celebration featuring a panel of three Alumnae Council members who shared what college has taught them so far, including how to choose a major and build support networks. Their insights gave our graduating seniors a real-world look at what’s ahead.
Trisha (UNC Chapel Hill), Marilyn (Wharton), and Danielle (University of Illinois Chicago) spoke about navigating campus life, managing stress, and finding support through mentors, clubs and community.
Each credited RTSWS as the spark that shaped their goals, built confidence, and opened doors to internships. As Danielle put it, “I’m always trying to give back the kind of mentoring RTSWS gave to me.”
Couldn’t make it? The full panel recording is available now on the Alumnae & Career Center.

RTSWS Students Selected for Summer Excellence Internship |
|
|
Four RTSWS high school juniors and seniors have been selected for BlackRock’s competitive Summer Excellence Internship, a program that gives students early access to careers in finance.
This opportunity reflects the power of RTSWS programming to equip students with the skills, confidence, and industry connections that open doors.
Here’s what two of the selected students had to say:
“I’m incredibly grateful for the support from RTSWS throughout this entire process. I truly could not have done it without the skills I learned from your team.”
“Thank you so much for giving me and other RTSWS students the opportunity to apply for this internship. I’m so excited to participate this summer.”
We’re thankful to BlackRock for investing in the next generation of talent, and to our sponsors for making these pathways possible.
